About Me
Growing Up
I was born to hardworking immigrant parents who sacrificed everything to give my sisters and me a better life. Growing up in a poor home, we struggled to pay the bills, but my parents did everything they could to ensure we had a roof over our heads, food on the table, and a bed to sleep in. The struggles were real, and there were times when it felt like we were barely getting by—but through it all, my parents never gave up, and neither did I.
Those challenges shaped me. They taught me that hard work, resilience, and self-belief can turn struggles into success. I started from the bottom, pushing myself to learn, grow, and move up the chain at work, not just for myself, but to build a better future for my family.
Now, as a father, my greatest motivation is ensuring my child—and all families in California—have the opportunities, security, and support they need to thrive. I am running for U.S. Senate to fight for working families, lower costs, more opportunities, and a government that truly serves the people.
